Some people don’t place as much importance on sleep, yet it’s one of the most important and simplest things you can do to keep your healthy skin as well as your body healthy and your mind sharp. Through the sleep process your mind is resting, however, your body is working hard to recover from the day you’ve had. While you’re sleeping your body is repairing your heart, organs, blood vessels, muscles and skin. That’s why regular lack of sleep has been linked to increased risk of high blood pressure, stroke, kidney disease, diabetes, heart disease and even obesity. Not to mention that effects it has on your skin, lack of regular sleep will be visible on your skin with under eye circles, sallow skin, puffy eyes and because the skin is to having the time to regenerate regularly it can even lead to wrinkles! So remember, get enough sleep.

Hydration does not only involve drinking more water. Yes, drinking a sufficient amount of water through your day is important for overall good health because it helps your body digest, absorb nutrients, circulate and excrete unwanted body pollutants. Being that your skin an organ that’s made up of cells, just like all the other cells in your body, these cells are made up of water. Lack of water will cause those cells to shrink which causes lack of plumpness in your skin thereby causing you to lose your skin’s radiance and accelerate wrinkles.
